Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Victoria University, New Zealand

Background: Before joining Centre Stage, Georgia had been teaching Theatre and Musical Theatre to children on and off for the past 6 years, both running her own weekly classes and facilitating themed holiday programmes. After witnessing first hand the enormous impact theatre had on her students, she decided to head into further study. Georgia went on to graduate from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, with a BA in Theatre. In this time she continued to develop her theatrical skill set, specialising in Childrens’ Theatre, Scenography (set design and production) and Devising. She has partaken in many productions, most recently as part of ‘Paperboy Productions’ in a children’s theatre musical called ‘Moonlight’. She enjoys all aspects of performance and her experience has varied from acting to music, movement, directing and production. Georgia is thrilled to be part of the Centre Stage family! She has a passion for all things theatrical and finds watching children’s confidence grow in a creative space a truly rewarding experience.
