The HandleBards are coming back to Singapore (and Centre Stage!) on the 24th/25th February

The world’s first cycling theatre company, The HandleBards, pedal from venue to venue with all the set, props and costume necessary to perform environmentally sustainable Shakespeare across the globe. They visited us last February for a glorious performance of ‘Romeo & Juliet‘ which received rave reviews from all who came. Join their all-female troupe again in Singapore this year on Saturday 24th February (with a potential second show on Sunday 25th) for a bicycle-powered production of Shakespeare’s ‘As You Like It’ like none other. Get your tickets online here.

In usual HandleBards style, expect riotous amounts of energy, a fair old whack of chaos, and a great deal of laughter.

And what’s the play about? Well – Rosalind and Orlando have been forced into exile in the Forest of Arden. As lovers, they become entangled in a bizarre game of lust, love and mistaken identity.

Described by none other than Sir Ian McKellen as “uproariously funny”, the HandleBards present Shakespeare’s plays as you’ve never seen them before – fast-paced, irreverent and bicycle-powered. Don’t miss catching them whilst they’re here again this year!
