On Stage Acting is designed specifically for young actors who show promise and are keen to develop their skills. We build up our performers toolkit, by working towards an annual scripted production. In order to maintain a high standard, performers must audition for this course and commitment is key.
We are very excited to announce we are looking to open a new On Stage Acting class – one of our MOST popular classes at Centre Stage – on Saturdays from 3pm to 5pm at our UWCSEA Dover Campus, with teacher Glyn Connop.
What? On Stage Acting: Performance Course Who for? 8 to 12 year olds
When? 3pm to 5pm on Saturdays Where? UWCSEA Dover How much? $75 per class, paid on a termly basis (plus a refundable deposit of $200 and one-off registration fee of $50) ONLY $70/session for UWCSEA students! Any pre-requisites? Yes. In order to maintain a high standard, performers must audition before gaining official entrance onto this course and it should be noted that if a performer is accepted on the course there must be a high level of commitment and attendance. Students will be required to learn a 2-3 minute monologue. Parents will also be required to attend for an important talk about the objectives and demands of this course.
