BA (Hons) Acting for Stage and Screen

Background: Lara is from Edinburgh, Scotland, where she trained in Acting for Stage and Screen. She has worked as a drama teacher for over 10 years, with children from age 3 years up to adults. She has also worked with children and adults with access support needs and disabilities to enable her students to create and enjoy drama. Lara enjoys sharing skills and ideas with the young people she teaches and believes in inspiring her students with her own enthusiasm and excitement for drama. She enjoys creating a safe and welcoming classroom environment, where students can feel free to be creative and grow in confidence, as individuals and as a collective.
Lara was a Producer for an Edinburgh-based theatre company, with a focus on new writing by working-class writers. She produced two Edinburgh Fringe festival productions, and a nationwide tour, alongside new writing scratch nights and pub theatre.
Lara is delighted to join Centre Stage, and looks forward to working with you all!
