Established 26 years ago, we have grown to teach and inspire generations of students through our programs in drama, musical theatre, dance, and singing. Those that are dynamic, enthusiastic, reliable, friendly and warm, artistic, organised, possess strong communication skills and an ability to be self-motivated and committed to support all our programmes, workshops etc.<\/p>\n<p>Our Assistant Teachers should fully participate and actively work together with the team, on all events and in furthering Centre Stage work and company vision and ethos, maintaining standards.<\/p>\n<p>Centre Stage is committed to safeguarding and employees are required to have certificates in or attend training in this area,\u00a0 implement safe working practices, and share the same attention and commitment to child protection and safeguarding.<\/p>\n<p>Employment \u2013 We also follow safe recruitment practices and rigorous checks. This person is a key member of our team and the first person our parents meet when they walk through the door \u2013 the first impression families receive. A bright, helpful, positive, friendly person, with excellent interpersonal skills, a caring attitude and attentive customer service. Able to provide administrative support to teachers and parents. A reliable team member with a strong work ethic. A passion for the arts, and child education, is also an advantage.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:<br \/>\nReception: Meet &amp; Greet: Welcome students, parents &amp; visitors to our Centre and help out with front of house duties for occasional productions, shows and events.<br \/>\nCustomer Care: To engage with new and current families, helping them find the right course &amp; pathway for their child. Understand all our classes\/courses to be able to confidently explain and to assist in marketing and sales to increase student enrolment.<br \/>\nCommunication: To handle in-person inquiries &amp; phone calls. Respond to and write emails, (good spoken and written English is important).<br \/>\nAdministrative Tasks: Manage student registration process, attendance records, payment processing, perform basic admin and basic book keeping duties, liaising with accounts dept.<br \/>\nScheduling: To help coordinate individual teaching sessions, schedules and appointments for teachers, staff and students.<br \/>\nReception\/Office Areas: Provide organisation &amp; logistics support. Help keep the reception area neat, tidy, organised, and welcoming.
