We hope to inspire every child with a love of ballet, discipline, imagination and poise. At age 3\u00bd, children may \u201cgraduate\u201d to Beginner Ballet, which is a drop off class based on the Royal Academy of Dance pre-school syllabus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<strong>Course: Beginners\u00a0Ballet<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Age:\u00a03 \u00bd to 5 years<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: Portsdown, East &amp; Fusionopolis<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Teachers:\u00a0Megan and Lucy C \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Beginners Ballet classes are drop off classes based on RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) syllabus &#8211; a London-based children\u2019s ballet training programme for girls and boys.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The classes incorporate classical ballet technique, an introduction to basic positions and movements, free work and improvisation, imagination and storytelling. We aim for every child to develop a love of dance and theatre as well as improved posture, poise, coordination, musicality and self-confidence, grace and discipline. We aim for every child to develop a love of dance and theatre as well as improved posture, poise, coordination, musicality and self-confidence, grace and discipline. As well as having fun!<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"s1\">This strong foundation prepares students for a successful transition to ballet and other dance genres at higher levels. There are three styles \u2013 Hungarian, Russian and Polish \u2013 and these were selected because of their historic importance in the development of the traditional full-length classical ballets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<strong>Beginner Pointe work\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Those who have successfully completed Grade 5 Ballet, if deemed ready for the challenges of pointe work, will be invited to participate in the Beginner Pointe class.
