Musical Theatre Intermediate combines\u00a0Creative Drama with song and dance. It is the next step up from Musical Theatre Juniors, and is part of Centre Stage’s Creative Pathway – the value and importance\u00a0will be<\/strong>\u00a0in the process and not the product.\u00a0<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

The main aim of these classes is to\u00a0build confidence and develop basic musical theatre skills in a process driven environment<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This\u00a0course combines movement, dance and song with\u00a0a through line of Creative Drama and character work\u00a0which\u00a0we believe\u00a0forms the basis for\u00a0all<\/i>\u00a0performance work.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>Students will use this added element to build belief in the characters they are playing \u2013\u00a0a fundamental skill required in\u00a0Musical Theatre.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Unlike our Performance training based \u201cOn Stage\u201d courses \u2013\u00a0the key aims of Musical Theatre Intermediate is to build confidence and express ourselves creatively in a safe space\u2026 learning valuable life skills in a process driven environment, rather than focusing on presentations or performances.<\/p>\n

Aims of the class:\u00a0<\/strong>To develop acting, music and movement skills, self-confidence, sociability, expression, creativity and imaginative skills.<\/p>\n
