{"id":14900,"date":"2019-11-13T23:00:02","date_gmt":"2019-11-13T15:00:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/centre-stage.com\/home\/?p=14900"},"modified":"2019-11-20T22:17:07","modified_gmt":"2019-11-20T14:17:07","slug":"help-us-support-wonderful-charity-love-nils-festive-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/centre-stage.com\/home\/help-us-support-wonderful-charity-love-nils-festive-season\/","title":{"rendered":"Help us support the wonderful charity LOVE, NILS this festive season!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Centre Stage are thrilled to\u00a0support\u00a0the wonderful charity\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lovenils.org\/\"><strong>LOVE, NILS<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>through our <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sistic.com.sg\/events\/icpjack1219\">Christmas Show<\/a><\/strong> this year&#8230;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lovenils.org\/\"><strong>LOVE, NILS<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is a charity\u00a0close to our hearts as Nils,\u00a0his twin sister Claire and their amazing mum Lesli were one of our very first Centre Stage families back in the day&#8230;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>About\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lovenils.org\/about\">LOVE, NILS<\/a>&#8230;\u00a0<\/strong><em><span class=\"font-avenir\">In 2017, Lesli Berggren founded\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/centrestageschoolofthearts.createsend1.com\/t\/i-l-pkildn-l-i\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LOVE, NILS<\/a>, a Singapore registered charity which provides children suffering from cancer and their caregivers with healthcare guidance, emotional care, and social and community support. LOVE, NILS is the only non-profit in Singapore that raises funds to pay for patient navigators at NUH Paediatric Oncology Department, who can offer patients and caregivers with the hope and support they need, including integrative therapies, housing, school student involvement programmes and more.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span class=\"font-avenir\">Throughout his battle, Lesli\u2019s son, Nils, maintained his positivity and fighting spirit. He spent time writing letters to family and friends asking for prayers and strength. He always signed off as \u201cLove, Nils.\u201d Today, LOVE, NILS stands to embody the hope he showed, supporting other children and their families as they navigate their treatment process.
