Tap is an exciting, rhythmic style that develops musicality, rhythm and co-ordination in a creative and fun environment.<\/p>\n

The class begins with a warm-up to stretch the muscles of the legs and feet. Dancers practice a series of basic steps, adding more difficult combinations as they become more proficient. \u00a0They will eventually complete tap combinations in choreography with speed, clarity, style and ease.<\/p>\n

With the steps that are taught, they will also explore improvisation to different types of music with different beats and rhythms. \u00a0This will help the student develop a style of his\/her own.<\/p>\n
