  • BA (Hons) Musical Theatre

Background: Fran began dancing at the age of 3, and singing and acting when she was 10. She was always immersed in the creative and performative world, and knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in this field. After completing her studies at school, she began training at University Centre Colchester, where she graduated in 2023 with a First Class Honours Degree. During her time in Colchester, she was involved in many productions, including playing the role of Anna in the musical, “Spring Awakening”. Whilst training, she also headed the student led dance society, Colchester Institute Dance Company, where she choreographed dance numbers and organised their show for that year.

After graduating, Fran began teaching at Stage One Theatre School in Essex, where she attended when she was a young girl. Whilst working there, she has choreographed and taught many dance numbers and songs for their showcases. She also taught LAMDA, both Acting and Musical Theatre, through detailed and personalised sessions and feedback – and was delighted that they all received ‘brilliant grades’. Fran is passionate about aiding the younger generation to reach their full potential in their classes – she also ensures that all her students have fun in class!
