Terms & Conditions for Shows, Workshops & Holiday Programmes

Terms and Conditions for Workshops, Shows & Holiday Camps

These T&Cs are to be read in conjunction with the standard T&Cs that are on our website and refer specifically to participating in a workshop or Show at Centre Stage. The headings in these Terms and Conditions are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect. Centre Stage reserves the right to change its terms and conditions without prior written notice at any time, at the sole discretion of Centre Stage.

Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions
Attending a workshop, holiday programme or participating in a show requires a large amount of commitment and effort from both the participants (and their parents if a minor) and the staff running the show, as well as to each other. Signing up for one of our workshops, shows or holiday programmes should only be done after it has been truly decided that the participant will able to attend on all of the dates and that the participant will be prepared and ready to engage fully each time.

The signing of the show contract or attendance at a workshop or participation in show rehearsals signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions and the agreement to be bound by them.

Registration
Registration for workshops, shows or holiday programmes can be done online, by email, telephone or completion of the show contract and registration form. Once registered, the participant or their parent is required to make full payment immediately and in any event, before the Workshop or first Show rehearsal takes place.

Confirmation of place
A confirmation of the place in the Workshop or Show will only be made once the payment is received and cleared. Places will be allocated on a first come first pay basis.

Participation
In order to get the most out of the workshop, show or holiday programme, participants are expected to be ready at the start time and wrap up at the finish time. If they arrive late or leave early they are expected to do so quietly causing minimal disturbance to the other participants. The participant or their parent must inform the instructor of any such arrangements or disturbances prior to the event starting.

Payment of fees
Fees can be paid online by pay pal or bank transfer. Alternatively by popping in to our office and paying via credit card, NETS, cheque (made payable to Centre Stage School of the Arts Pte Ltd), bank transfer (DBS a/c 100-900244-1) or cash. A receipt is only given for cash payments.

Postponement & Cancellation
We reserve the right to postpone or cancel a workshop, show or holiday programme (e.g. due to insufficient registrations or teacher illness) in which case we will offer you an alternative workshop date or give you a full refund of all fees. We will make sure to inform parents with 72 hours notice via email, and where possible, phone.

Age Groups
We reserve the right to make adjustments to our age groupings, on the basis of the average age of signups. We will notify parents if this is the case.

Refunds
As we expect there to have been an informed decision regarding participation in workshops, shows or holiday programmes, no refunds will be given for any reason once the place has been confirmed. Any exceptions will be entirely at the discretion of company management.

Media Release
Attendance of any Centre Stage Workshop or Show / Show rehearsal is acceptance of usage of the participant’s photograph, written work and voice in academic works, brochures, videos or other promotional materials.
