For children aged 5 to 10
Popstars is a fun packed, high energy course designed to give structure to a child’s burning desire to sing and dance. The children learn contemporary pop and musical theatre numbers, choreograph them and sing them in the class.
Benefits include; creative development, singing, dance and presentation training, co-ordination and rhythm, stage-craft, teamwork, confidence building and lots of fun. It should be noted that the main aim of this class is to enthuse, inspire and encourage a love of singing and dancing, it is NOT a technical class. For those seeking specific technical dance or musical training please refer to our other dance and performance courses.
As an optional extra, Popstars can attend additional rehearsals and train for an annual Popstar Show. There are also occasions where the pop stars get to perform in events outside Centre Stage.
Popstars is for one hour a week.
