Background: Peter started acting at school aged ten and went on to study at the prestigious G.S.A. On graduating he worked in regional theatre in the UK, notably for TAG at the Glasgow Citizens, Pocket Theatre as well co-founding his own children’s theatre company, he also toured the UK and Europe with APE Theatre racking up over 500 performances of their key play Too Much Punch and co-writing Jonny Be Good. He then moved to London and appeared in Dante’s Inferno and then in fringe at the Old Red Lion, Islington. He also worked in special effects on Silas Marner (BBC), Legend (Ridley Scott), Lamb (Starring Liam Neeson) and countless commercials and pop videos – including and Elton John’s Nikita and a Robin Gibb video in which he featured as well. Other performance include Tissue by Louise Page, Two by Jim Cartwright, Bouncers by John Godber.

He moved to Singapore in 1995 and played villain John Severin in Media Corps Triple Nine and appeared in TheatreWorks’ Six of the Best, was a long term member of improv performers The Madhatters. In 1999 he co-founded Centre Stage with his wife Alison Tompkins. Since then he has produced, written and directed dozens of plays including all of the Centre Stage Christmas shows since 2002 that have been staged in Raffles Hotel, Marina Bay Sands Theatres and the Drama Centre.

Recently he appeared in Crazy Rich Asians playing the Hotel Clerk.
