Tring Park School for the Performing Arts stands at the forefront of specialist performing arts education in the UK. Tring Park also offers a full and rounded education to GCSE, BTEC and A level (up to 23 A level subjects), in an atmosphere of high academic performance. At Tring Park, talented young people from 8 to 19 specialise in Dance, Acting, Musical Theatre or Commercial Music, whilst gaining excellent academic qualifications. Entrance is via audition and scholarships are available for Dance via the UK Government’s Music and Dance Scheme. School scholarships and bursaries are available for Drama and Musical Theatre.
Pupils perform regularly both in Tring Park’s Markova Theatre as well as in London, throughout the UK and Europe. Musical theatre productions include: Calamity Jane, Jesus Christ Superstar, Rodgers & Hart’s Babes in Arms, Guys and Dolls and Cabaret. Tring Park provides 25 young ballet dancers to perform annually in the Christmas production of Nutcracker and Le Corsaire with English National Ballet at the London Coliseum. It also provides dancers for English National Ballet productions at the Royal Albert Hall. Six pupils have played the part of Billy in Billy Elliot in the West End and on tour, another joined the cast of Matilda in the role of Lavender and current pupils Harley Bird is the voice of the famous cartoon character Peppa Pig. In 2016 the Tring Park choir “The Sixteen” won the BBC Songs of Praise Senior School Choir of the Year.

Tring Park also has considerable academic success with students entering Russell Group universities and another who was awarded a Scholarship to study English at Churchill College, Cambridge. Other students have left to read Medicine, Law and Engineering whilst others are working in stage management and in other performance-related industries.
