This term at UWCSEA, Centre Stage are bringing 2 of their most popular courses straight to the Dover campus on Saturdays! Creative Drama uses drama and theatre techniques to promote creativity, independence, confidence, cooperation, communication and critical thinking….Students devise and develop dramatic scenes. They work both individually and collaboratively and their own creative ideas are realised through the performance of these improvisations within the class. Children love it because it builds on their natural willingness to play. Parents love it because it develops the essential Life Skills of their children.

OnStage Acting uses drama and theatre techniques to promote creativity, independence, confidence, cooperation, communication & critical thinking… This course is all about performance and developing the skills of the Actor. Over the year, we work on two productions, a Studio Performance (this tends to be monologues, duologues or a devised piece) and a full play, with all the production value that involves, props, costume, set, lighting sound etc.
