Circus

#16 Performance Musical Theatre: 8 to 12 July – Circus Mystery – Big Top Adventures!

$495.00

Join the Centre Stage team for a very busy week of ‘serious fun’! As we act, rehearse, practice, perfect and bring to life a mini storytelling play.
We will work together collaboratively, to help create, paint and decorate our set, props and accessories for the end-of-week presentation.

This ‘Page to Stage’ programme allows keen musical theatre students to work on scripts and stories based on, in and around the theme of a Circus Mystery.
We take scenes in the Mystery genre and develop acting technique; physicality, voice, character, singing, movement, choreography, dance and stagecraft to produce a performance montage that family and friends can come and see at the end of the week.

These camps run across five days (Monday to Friday) 9:00 am to 12:00 noon at Centre Stage School of the Arts – 15 Woking Road.

Age guidelines

You should sign up for the group relevant to the age your child will be by the date camp runs. Sometimes siblings want to be in the same group for convenience, but we promise you that our courses are carefully honed to the needs of your children and having a child in an inappropriate group will be wasting your money.

Cancellation Policy

We bring you the highest possible standard of global creative and performing arts education. To do this we need three things, a great programme, excellent teachers and small class sizes.
It is the class size that is crucial, a small class allows our teachers to have strong personal ties with each and every student in the class. We don’t have classes of 24 or even 30 as is the norm in many schools. In order to do this, we need to keep our classes as full as possible, so we ask you kindly to adhere to the cancellation policy.
For cancellations up to 4 weeks ahead of a camp start date, we will offer a credit to a future camp of the same value or a refund.
For cancellations less than 4 weeks ahead of camp start date, we will offer a credit or refund, only if we are able to replace your spot in the camp with someone on the waitlist.
For cancellations less than a week ahead of camp start date, there will be no credit or refund.

Class Sizes

Centre Stage have always maintained small class sizes [14 on average]. Maximum group numbers for these camps will be subject to prevailing guidelines.
