Beginners Ballet classes are drop off classes based on RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) syllabus, which is a London based children’s ballet training programme for girls and boys.

The classes incorporate classical ballet technique, an introduction to basic positions and movements, free work and improvisation, imagination and story telling. We aim for every child to develop a love of dance and theatre as well as improved posture, poise, coordination, musicality and self-confidence, grace and discipline. As well as having fun in ballet class!

Each term we have a ‘theme’ that all the classes follow; past themes include Four Seasons, Animals, Sleeping Beauty, Holidays and Swan Lake. Along the theme, we prepare a dance throughout the term that the dancers perform for you in our termly open class, which is held at the end of each term (Normally April, July and December)

All children are invited to take part in our ballet performances and at age 5, they will be considered for their readiness to move into the syllabus class of Pre-Primary.
