1. Creative and Performance Drama Teacher (Full Time) – 2 years contract

Enthusiastic and experienced in teaching all ages in:
=> 3-12 year olds process driven creative drama & MT – drama, singing, dancing,
=> 8-12 year olds performance & acting skills & MT – drama, singing, dancing,
=> 13 yrs + acting skills & MT – drama, singing, dancing,
=> 8yrs + skills required in preparation towards Trinity/LAMDA Musical Theatre Exams.
Must love working with children and young people, be engaging and inspiring and have the skills, training and experience to back this up.
Must be able to work within a collaborative team, planning and delivering classes, workshops, holiday programmes, birthday party events.
Able to direct, costume and create/build set, for annual productions and class presentations, workshops, events & holiday programmes.
Must have knowledge of and be able to operate basic lights & sound for their productions.
Important: These job roles require complete all rounders, with broad skills and the candidates must be adaptable, flexible and able to multi task. The jobs require creativity, as well as good practical and organisational skills, effective time management abilities and an excellent work ethic. Only those who have the aforementioned skills, together with reliability, good stamina and resilience should apply.
Ideal candidates would be those, having trained as performers, with experience working in the industry and a degree in the same area. Candidates, should have experience a teachers/workshop leaders and be passionate about student development, working and teaching young children, teens and in the arts and arts education.

2: A DBS (previously CRB) UK police check or Singapore equivalent.

8-10 weeks leave per academic year
$70 per hour for teaching and $20 per hour for admin work

4. Creative Arts Assistant Teacher (Full Time)
Full Time:
Contract – 2 years – Opportunities to renew
Overall Responsibilities:
Working alongside the Teaching team to provide support in Early Years/Drama/Arts and Crafts/Classes/ Holiday Programmes/ Workshops/Shows and Events.
Job Responsibilities:
Role is to support the teacher to maintain a safe learning space and help create a fun and supportive environment.
Provide support & encouragement within class, in developing a student’s social & emotional skills.
Responsibilities – Practical day-to-day tasks:
In classes:
Setting up of the pre-school equipment and course activities in the studios prior to the classes.
Carry out routine care duties.
Classes are drama or dance focused – include singing, story-telling, role play, puppetry – Involved and assist in playing out the stories, characters and bringing to life the situations in Creative dramas.
Assist within classes (workshops/parties/ Holiday Programmes & Back Stage for shows).
Help with supervision during rehearsals.
Use positive discipline techniques at all times.
In Planning & Preparation: Resource & Event organisation, planning and preparation
Assist in preparing resources, arts and crafts materials and helping to implement them in the classes alongside the teachers.
Assist with planning arts and crafts ready for Holiday programmes.
Assist in preparing Theatre props/scenery for shows.
Responsible for the upkeep and organisation of teaching resources/arts and craft materials.
Maintain appearance/decoration of the studios and displays and during times of festivals.
Child development
Help in supporting development social and emotional skills.
Be able to articulate the benefits of the program to the parents.
Maintain and build a good relationship with children, parents and teachers.
Attend staff meetings.
Attend Training.
Be willing and be prepared to undertake training and professional development activities in-house and outside of Centre Stage.

Assistant Teachers at Centre Stage
Our Assistant Teachers are important to the work we do and provide an essential support system for children and young people within our arts education.
The kind of people we are looking for are good at engaging naturally with children and young people. Those that are dynamic, enthusiastic, reliable, enthusiastic, friendly, and warm, artistic, organised, possess strong communication skills and an ability to be self-motivated and committed to support all our programmes, workshops etc.
Our Assistant Teachers should fully participate and actively work together with the team, on all events and in furthering Centre Stage work and company vision and ethos, maintaining standards.
Centre Stage is committed to safeguarding and employees are required to have certificates in or attend training in this area, implement safe working practices, and share the same attention and commitment to child protection and safeguarding.

Ideal but not essential:
GCE ‘O’Levels.
A Certificate or Diploma in Education or equivalent, or working towards a relevant qualification.

5: Accounts cum HR (Full Time)
Requirements:
Centre stage School of the Arts is looking for a suitable candidate who has basic knowledge on finance and able to take on administrative jobs relating to Finance with some HR Admin responsibilities.
